To avoid deflection and bending of a pipe section of a shaft line, caused by ... on the lower end face of the pipe end entering into a packing gland, and yet be able to dispense with lateral pipe guides and lifting cylinders in order to pass the pipe weight into the packing gland adjoining the pipe section, the invention provides for a taper above the packing gland in the bracing pipe. The projected area of this taper is preferably slightly larger than the annular end face of the bracing pipe so that a tensile force is exerted on the pipe holder and the pipeline. This tensile force causes the entire system to be statically determined.
