摘要 The heat exchanger described (1) has a reaction part (2) made of porous heat-conductive material (5) which is linked with a porous heat-conductive material (6) by means of a gas-tight highly heat-conductive boundary layer (4). Preferably, the porous heat-conductive material (5, 6) is made of sintered metal. Part of the sintered metal in the reaction part (2) can be coated with a catalyst substance (7) so that the large surface of the porous sintered metal can be used as a reaction surface. When outlets (8) are fed through exothermic or endothermic reactions take place on the surfaces which are coated with the catalyst substance in the reaction part. In the heat transfer section a heat transfer medium (9) is fed in, in order to conduct away the heat of reaction which is produced during an exothermic chemical reaction or to introduce it in the case of an endothermic reaction. It is advantageous if the heat transfer medium in the heat transfer part passes through a phase charge, so that the heat transfer medium evaporates or condenses on the large surface of the sintered metal in the heat transfer part, depending on whether an exothermic or endothermic chemical reaction is taking place in the reaction part. In a preferred embodiment the heat exchanger described is used as a steam generator, whereby in the reaction part an exothermic reaction takes place, e.g. catalytic oxidation of combustion gases, and in the heat transfer part the working medium which is to be evaporated is fed in. Such a steam generator is particularly suited as a driving steam generator for a refrigerator or heat pump with a steam jet compressor.
