The invention relates to a fastening arrangement which is mounted on a penetrating lamp cable in an axially displaceable fashion and is provided with a device by means of which the lamp cable and lamp fixture flange can be held in a virtually coaxial and permanently defined position relative to one another, the device being detachably fastened to the lamp cable by a compressive force acting uniformly on an annular circumferential section of the lamp cable.
