Route device for continuous automatic train running control

摘要

The route device (SG) has a number of logic modules (LG1 to LG4) which are matched to the number of track sections (1 to 4) of a route area. These logic modules are represented by multi-computer systems which are reliable in terms of signalling technology; they are connected to one another via bus systems (B1; B2, B3) and to the signalling box (STW). Each logic module (e.g. LG3) determines, from fixed and variable route and, if appropriate, vehicle data impressed on it and transmitted to it from the signalling box and the other logic modules, the data telegram which is to be transmitted to a vehicle (F) travelling over the associated track section (3), and ensures the said data telegram is transmitted to the vehicle.
