PURPOSE:To reline smoothly and surely an eroded part over a wide range by press-feeding shapeless refractories through the force-feed hole of a shell drilled to the eroded part, forming further a press-feed hole to the refractories when the press-fed refractories cure, press-feeding the shapeless refractories therein and repeating such operations plural times. CONSTITUTION:When the bricks 2 of a furnace wall are eroded, the press-feed hole 3 is drilled to the shell 1 in the position corresponding to the eroded part and the shapeless refractories M1 are press-fed therethrough. The press-fed material M1 flows downward and deposits there upon lapse of prescribed time. The furnace bricks are bored down to a prescribed depth through the hole 3 to open a secondary press-feed hole 4 and the secondary shapeless refractories M2 are again press-fed through the holes 3, 4 during about 40-100% of the time required for the thorough curing of the material M1. The concn. of the material M2 is made equal to or higher than the concn. of the material M1. Such operations are executed plural times to stack successively the press-fed materials in the relining part. |
