Process of information exchange between subscribers through a ring bus by slots circulating on the bus (10, 12), each slot containing a status indication, an address and/or data work, according to a decentralized and passive transfer protocol with a static allocation of slot to the subscribers provided with a passive bus interface, characterized in that the slot comprises at least three successive portions having a common time duration, respectively dedicated to the status indication, to the address and to the data word and in that the portion dedicated to the data word is time separated from the portion dedicated to the address by a delay which is equal to a multiple of said common duration and which is sufficient for permitting address decoding by each passive bus interface (PBI) which is concerned by the slot before the respective data word is received.</p> |
