PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency and the output torque by forming a sub pole opposed to a sub salient pole at the intermediate position of poles of a stationary armature, and alternately exciting the exciting coils of the first and second systems. CONSTITUTION:The rotational shaft 1 of a reluctance type 1-phase motor is rotatably supported to a cylindrical support of a body substrate. The poles 3a-3d of an armature 3 are spaced at 90 deg. from each other, and exciting coils 4a-4d are respectively mounted. Main salient poles 2a-2f are disposed on a rotor 2, and sub salient poles 33a are integrally formed at an equal pitch of 1/2 on the back side. The control of exciting the coils 4a-4d has a coil of position detector, stops oscillating whenever opposing to the poles 2a-2d. Thus, the coils are alternately excited to control rotation as a one phase DC motor. |
