PURPOSE:To recollect CO gas with high purity at the maximum by providing a skirt position transmitter for confirming a skirt position in order to adjust the clearance between the skirt and a converter throat. CONSTITUTION:In skirt lifting equipment of converter exhausted gas treating equipment, a skirt position transmitter 18 for confirming the skirt position is provided to adjust the clearance between a skirt 2 and a converter throat 1. When the position of the skirt 2 is within the set value, a skirt position transmitter 18 switches a speed changeover solenoid valve 14 to low speeds through a sequence circuit 16 and adjusts the clearance between the throat of the converter 1 and the skirt 2. When it is not within the set value, a position transmitter 18 switches a speed changeover solenoid valve 20 to high speeds and adjust the clearance between the throat of the converter 1 and the skirt 2 with high speeds. |
