<p>Complex screed for sealing and thermally insulating a compacted site or a concrete substrate by laying down an optional layer of rigid expanded polyester slabs, then a layer of flexible synthetic foam, pref. polyether, pref. anchored by a neoprene (polychloroprene) or natural rubber adhesive, and a (coloured) top dressing of a catalysed polyester resin system, pref. incorporating reinforcement comprising glass mat or cloth or a metallic grid or mesh. Esp. for covering or lining terraces, banks, ditches or pools or insulating cold rooms. Is simpler to develop than concrete paving, esp. reinforced concrete, is more resistant to smoke, exhaust fumes, halogenated or salt or acid atmospheres.</p> |
