<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a controller for an electric railcar which has high reliability by performing a function requested for a fast process in an analog circuit and processing a function sufficient for a relatively slow process in a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 11 closes a forward contactor 2 or a reverse contactor 3 in response to the operation of a forward/reverse changeover switch 10. A chopper signal is output to a power transistor 8 in response to the depressing amount of an accelerator 9. On the other hand, a current flowed to the armature 7 of a motor 8 is detected by a current detector 6, and its detection signal is limited so as not to exceed the capacity of the transistor 8. At this time, a fast process required or a process necessary to be always monitored is performed in an analog circuit, and a relatively slow process is achieved in a microcomputer.</p> |
