CONTROLLING METHOD OF AC MOTOR

PURPOSE:To stably operate an AC motor by storing in advance the frequency vs. voltage curve of a supply power so that the starting and stopping times become shortest and controlling according to the stored content, thereby shortening accelerating/decelerating time. CONSTITUTION:The varying curve of the frequency vs. the voltage of supply power so that the time from the start of a motor to the rotating speed determined by a power frequency becomes shortest and a motor current does not exceed the prescribed value is led previously and stored in a memory in the first reference signal generator 14. The varying curve of frequency/voltage so that the time from the prescribed rotating speed of the motor to the stop becomes shortest and a motor current does not exceed the prescribed value is led in advance, and stored in a memory in the second reference signal generator 15.
