PURPOSE:To improve the deceleration performance during running by providing an electric driving device and a power generating device applying positive and reverse torque to a crank shaft and performing the torque control in the direction to increase the braking action during the partial-cylinder operation and deceleration, in particular. CONSTITUTION:Two types of rotary solenoid coils 8, 9 and a magnetic body 10 are provided on the outer periphery of a flywheel 2 fitted to the end of a crank shaft 1. A stationary solenoid coil 7 is provided on the inner periphery of a fitting member 6 fixed to a cylinder block 3 around the flywheel 2. An electric driving device applying positive torque to the crank shaft 1 is constituted by exciting the stationary coil 7 and the rotary coil 8, and a power generating device applying reverse torque to the crank shaft 1 is constituted by exciting the rotary coil 9 with the stationary coil 7 connected to a rectifying circuit. The torque control is performed so that the reverse torque applied by the power generating device is corrected during the partial-cylinder operation and deceleration more than during the normal operation. |
