PURPOSE:To decrease the frictional resistance of a grinder element and lessen damage of a work to be processed by dispersing abrasive grains and solid lubricant of hexagonal system in a metal plating liquid, immersing a base material in this liquid, and by applying co-eduction plating to the surfaces and end face of said base material to form a certain thickness of grinding layer. CONSTITUTION:Abrasive grains 3 consisting of diamond, nitric boron in cubic crystals, silicon carbide, etc. and solid lubricant of hexagonal system 4 consisting of graphite, molybdene disulfide, graphite fluoride, boron nitride are dispersed in a plating liquid consisting of Ni, Cu, etc. A base material 1 with good rigidity, for ex. carbon steel for cutting tool or stainless steel, is immersed in this plating liquid so as to apply co-eduction of Ni metal 2, abrasive grains 3 and solid lubricant to the whole surface and end face of the base material 1. |
