发明名称 SYNTHESIS OF ACRYLAMIDE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful for synthesizing an acryla midepolymer in high selectivity, by reacting acrylonitrile with water in a liquid phase by the use of a specific reduced nickel copper as a catalyst. CONSTITUTION:Acrylonitrole is reacted with water in a liquid phase by the use of a reduced nickel copper obtained by reducing a composition of nickel oxide and copper oxide having a composition with an atom ratio of copper/ nickel of 45/55-18/85 with hydrogen or a hydrogen-containing gas in a gaseous phase, to give acrylamide. A metal nickel catalyst has extermely low selectivity for acrylamide from acrylonitile and is not practical, but addition of copper in an amount smaller than that of nickel provides much higher activity than a metal copper catalyst, the reduced nickel copper catalyst is suitable for a fixed bed reaction type, and is a catalyst of gaseous-phase reduced metal type suitable for hydrogen gas treatment or chemical solution treatment.
