The invention relates to the adjustment of an oil pump for the purpose of forced lubrication of rotary vacuum pumps. It reduces considerably the expenditure required therefor hitherto. The object of the invention is to provide a device on the forced-lubrication system of rotary vacuum pumps, which device enables a simple adjustment, in one pass, of the end play of the oil pump and thus of the oil pressure. According to the invention the following is provided: arranged in the air gap between the pump rotor and the cover flange there is a disk-shaped adjustment piston which is fastened to the rotor-side end of a threaded shaft mounted in a threaded bore of the covering flange. The flange-side end of the threaded shaft is provided with a torque-absorbing and a locking element.
