PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a photoelectric converter by coating two photoelectric converting areas having the same structure with filters for absorbing light rays each in specific wavelength respectively, and making the light related to one wavelength of the filter equal in quality incident upon both the areas when the same light is irradiated to both the areas. CONSTITUTION:Transparent electrodes 21, 22 formed on a glass substrate 1 are covered with an a-Si layer 3. Patterns for metallic electrodes 41, 42 are formed, the electrodes 41, 42 are electrically connected to the extension parts of the electrodes 22, 21 respectively, solar batteries 11, 12 are connected reversely in parallel, then the surface of the substrate 1 which is the opposite side to the electrode 22 which is the lower side of the battery 12 is covered with a filter 5. In such a case, the transmissibility of 500nm or more wavelength through the filter 5 is set up to about 93% and the effective area of the battery 11, i.e. the area of the superposed part of the electrodes 21, 42, is set up to about 93%. Consequently, optical current values of the batteries 11, 12 due to the light having >=500nm in wavelength can be equalized. |
