Aspects of the present invention relate to providing assistance to medical professionals during the performance of medical procedures through the use of technologies facilitated through a head-worn computer.

1. A head-worn computer, comprising:
a. A forward-facing camera adapted to capture images of an environment proximate the head-worn computer; b. A processor adapted to cause the camera to capture an image of a person's face, wherein the processor is further adapted to initiate a facial recognition process based on the image to verify that the person is a known medical patient with a scheduled known medical procedure; and c. The processor further adapted to display an indication that the person is the known person with the scheduled known medical procedure in a see-through display of the head-worn computer.
