PURPOSE:To process sheet accurately in sheet sorter jointable in multi-stages for containing the sheet to be fed from copy machine into plural bins, by prohibiting movement of prestage bottle until completion of sorting of post stage sheet. CONSTITUTION:Sheet sorters 19, 20 are provided with plural sheet sorting means having plural bins for containing the sheet and means for moving the bins to contain the sheet into plural bins. Furthermore, means for controlling the moving means such that the movement of bin in the sorter 19 is prohibited until many sheets exceeding over the processing capacity of prestage sorter 19 is carried to post-stage sorter 20 and sorted is provided. |
