A combined wall and fan unit for a building consists of a wall unit with a heat-insulated frame (2) and a heat-insulated wall element (5) which is arranged in the frame on the outside of the same, and a fan (6) which is supported by the frame on the inside of the same and contains a heat exchange element, in order to bring about a heat exchange between the fresh air and the spent room air. The frame contains at least one heat-insulated inner inlet duct (23), the opposite ends of which are connected to the fan and to the atmosphere in order to supply fresh air to the fan, and at least one heat-insulated inner outlet duct, the opposite ends of which are connected to the fan and to the atmosphere in order to deliver the spent room air into the atmosphere. Both the inlet duct and the outlet duct are covered with a layer (38) of a heat-insulating material, which extends over their inner circumferential surface.
