PURPOSE:To shorten a free time when an input/output device does not operate by executing another input/output request command simultaneously with the completion of input/output processing based upon an input/output request command specified by the matching of a sequence number. CONSTITUTION:There is an input/output start request command to an electronic computer 1 and input/output start processing is performed; and a sequence number is given by a sequence number giving means 1a and then an input/output controller 2 accepts an input/output start request command. Then, input/output start processing is performed by the input/output controller 2 for the 1st input/ output start request command and the input/output device 3 starts operating. If there is another input/output start request command to the electronic computer 1 during the operation of the input/output device 3, the input/output device start request command from the input/output device 3 is held. Then, the held input/output start request command is executed simultaneously with the input/ output end processing of the input/output device 3 based upon the former input/ output start request command. |
