PURPOSE:To carry out airtight brazing between cathode supporters and a cathode stem and between the cathode stem and a sealing body with the process of one brazing by fixing tubular sealing fixtures which connects the cathode stem to the cathode supporter, and the fixtures previously sandwiches brazing materials by the flange portion of the inside, by means of the caulking of the outside. CONSTITUTION:Metallized layers 24 and 22 are formed in the end surface of inside of througholes 18 and 19 which are provided in the end surface of an opening in a cathode stem 16 and in the partitioning portion 17 of the cathode stem, respectively. An annular plate brazing material 23 is sandwiched between the flange portion 21a of tubular sealing fixtures 20, 21 and the metallized layers 22 of the partitioning portion 17 of the cathode stem to mount the flange portion 21a thereon, the opposite side of the tubular sealing fixtures 20, 21 is widened to fix. And thereafter, cathode supporters 11, 13 are inserted into the tubular sealing fixtures, and brazing materials 25, 26 are positioned and a brazing material 27 is positioned in the metallized layer 24 of the cathode stem 16. And thereafter, airtight brazing is carried out by heating with the process of one airtight brazing. |
