CONSTITUTION:The copying machine is provided with an original size detecting means for detecting the original size of an original set on an original setting board and a variable power copying condition selecting means for calculating and selecting the variable power at the setting of the paper size or the paper size at the setting of the variable power on the basis of the original size detected by said detecting means and the set paper size or the variable power. In addition, a variable power copying condition selecting means provided with a means for selecting whether the variable power copying condition obtained by the variable power copying condition selecting means is to be validated or not is also formed.
