<p>The compsns. are made by (a) homogeneously mixing ammonium iodide, ammonium mono-phosphate, ammonium bromide borax boric acid and ammonium sulphate, (b) adding water to dissolve the mixt. keeping it at below 70 deg. C; (c) dissolving in the mixt. 1,2-propylene glycol, triethanolamine lauryl sulphate and the remaining water together with a mixt. of sodium silicate, water, undecilenic acid and zinc undecilenate. Proportions are triethanolamine lauryl sulphate 0.5-6 vol.%, NH4I 1.5-8 wt.%, (NH4)2HPO4 1.5-8 wt.% NH4Br 2-12 wt.% borax 1.5-20 wt.%, boric acid 1.5-7 wt.% and (NH4)2SO4 3.5-20 wt.%.</p> |
