PURPOSE:To inhibit the setting of a multi-job mode when an automatic original carrying device or a sorter is not connected by providing the titled machine with a multi-job mode setting means for continuously copying originals having different conditions, an ADF connection detecting means, a sorter connection detecting means, and a mode setting input inhibiting means. CONSTITUTION:The automatic original carrying device 2 is attachably/ detachably connected to the upper part of the electronic copying machine 1 and the sorter 3 is attachably/detachably connected to the machine 1. The ADF connection detecting means 2S for detecting the connection of the device 2 to the machine 1 and the sorter connection detecting means 3S for detecting the connection of the sorter 3 are formed on a facing plate 1a. When a multi-job key 52 is ON, the means 2s is OFF and the means 3s is OFF, i.e. when the ADF2 or the sorter 3 is not connected to the machine 1, an input to set up the multi-job mode is inhibited. |
