<p>Method for separation of magnesium-based impurities contained in phosphoric acid prepared by wet process. The method comprises the addition to the phosphoric acid of an ammonium compound R (NH4) soluble in said acid and optionally a compound of fluorine and an aluminium compound so as to initiate a reaction for the formation of an insoluble complex (NH4)x (Mg)y (Al)z (F,OH)6; this complex crystallized in large size grains is then easy to separate by filtration and settling.</p> |
