PURPOSE:To manufacture a heat exchanger which does not deteriorate the quality of fin materials by brazing filler metal by assembling accumulater pipes having a brazing filler metal layer on the inner and outer surfaces, a large number of fin and snaked multiple hole flat tubes having a covered layer of brazing filler metal on the surface and by heating, the assembly in a furnace. CONSTITUTION:A covered layer 5 of Al-Si-Mg brazing filler metal is formed at 30-55mum thickness and bent meanderingly on the surface of a multiple hole flat tube 1 made of Al or Al alloy forming a plural hole (b) by a partition wall (a). After that, a large number of corrugate fin 2 made of Al alloy at 0.10-0.16mm thickness is inserted between the parallel parts. In addition, both terminal parts of a meandering tube 1 are inserted an opening of an accumulater pipe 3 having Al-Si or Al-Si-Mg alloy brazing filler metal layers 8, 9 on the inner and outer surface of a Al pipe 10. Then a heat exchanger is assembled, heated in a furnace at 610 deg.C, and brazed quality of a fin 2 is not deteriorated by the penetration of Si in brazing filler metal because the fin 2 is not covered with brazing filler metal. |
