Spot-type disc brake with a radially open guide well in the housing, into which the brake shoes are mounted in axial displaceable fashion on two holding pins arranged offset in the circumferential direction and are clamped to these in a chatter-free manner by means of a one-piece holding spring made of spring sheet, the holding spring being designed, in plan view, as an H-shaped spring which is symmetrical about a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis and the flat central part of which, which is aligned parallel to the axis, is arranged between the two holding pins and supported at the ends, in each case from above, on the two brake pads, and the arms of which, which are aligned parallel to the brake disc, engage with prestress under the holding pins by means of their upright free ends and there snap into grooves in the pins. <IMAGE>
