Lamp having an adjustable bow stand which is mounted at its lower end on a lamp foot accommodating a transformer and supports at its upper end a lamp head provided with a joint, the bow stand being constructed as an electrically conductive spring steel strip, and an electrically conductive metal cable is provided which clamps the spring steel strip and extends between the lamp foot and lamp head.
