PURPOSE:To obtain a heat fixing roller having excellent fixing and durability characteristics by winding a specific composition composed of a fluororubber, Fe2O3, BaSO4 and a wollastonite, around an outer perimeter of a core bar of the roller, curing, grinding a surface of a winded roller and then powder- coating the surface with a fluororubber composition and baking. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of the fluororubber composition having >=5X10<-4>Cal/ cm.S. deg.C heat conductivity and composed of 0.5-15pts.wt. of Fe2O3, 30pts.wt. of BaSO4 and 30pts.wt. of wollastonite per 100pts.wt. of the fluororubber contg. the copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and chlorotrifluoroethylene is winded around the outer perimeter of the core bar of the roller and cured at 160 deg.C for 40min and further cured at 230 deg.C for 24hr. After grinding the surrface of the winded core bar of the roller, the fluororesin such as polytetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkoxy resin etc. is powder-coated the surface of the winded core bar of the roller and then baking at 350 deg.C for 2hr, thereby obtaining the titled roller. |
