PURPOSE:To improve a printing quality by outputting one side dots of each dot adjacent in a longitudinal direction when a displacement direction is lateral as a dot pattern in the case of making a superscript letter and a subscript letter. CONSTITUTION:A dot pattern of a superscript letter and a subscript letter is made based on a letter pattern read out from a kanji ROM14 by CPU11, with a work memory RAM13 used in making a letter pattern for a printing. The pattern of the superscript letter or the subscript letter consists of a dot pattern being sufficient to be discriminated can be made from a ordinary letter pattern. |
