PURPOSE:A composition for oral cavity capable of preventing color change with time, obtained by adding a polycarboxylic acid and/or a chalcone-based compound as a fading inhibitor to an amine-based compound-containing oral cavity composition blended with iron ion. CONSTITUTION:A polycarboxylic acid and/or a chalcone-based compound as a fading inhibitor is added to a composition for oral cavity comprising a compound e.g., epsilon-aminocaproic acid, having an NH3, amine, quaternary ammonium group, blended with iron ion. The existence of an amino-based compound and iron ion of the composition together with mint spice increases the fading of the composition, but the addition of the fading inhibitor can prevent the color change. Citric acid may be cited as the polycarboxylic acid: neohesperidindihydrochalcone, as the chalcone-based compound. |
