PURPOSE:The titled cosmetic that contains a combination of an extract of pot marigold or common marigold with allantoin or glycyrrhizin, which develops synergism to show remarkable curing effect on traumata, along with a surfactant, thus being effective for traumata, chaps, cracks and roghened skins. CONSTITUTION:Allantoin or its derivative (0.01-4.0wt%) glycyrrhyzic acid or its salt (0.05-5.0wt%) and an extract of pot marigold and/or commone marigold (0.01-10.0wt%) are added to a cosmetic base containing a surfactant (preferable 0.01-1.50wt% based on the total cosmetic), preferably an aqueous ethanol base containing perfumes to give the objective cosmetic. EFFECT:Even when a material inhibiting the cure of traumata is used as a base, it keeps high curing effect. Therefore, a wide range of base materials can be freely selected to give cosmetics of any composition suitable for a purpose. |
