PURPOSE:To obtain a clear color image with little color turbidity by using a heat developable color photosensitive material contg. a polymer having repeating units each derived from a monomer represented by a specified formula as at least one novel dye providing substance. CONSTITUTION:A photographic constituent layer contg. photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a binder and a dye providing substance is formed on a support. The dye providing substance is a homo-or copolymer having repeating units each derived from a magenta dye monomer represented by the formula (where Q is an ethylenic unsatd. group or a group having an ethylenic unsatd. group bonded through -CO- or SO2-, R1 is alkyl, aryl, amino, anilino, acylamino or ureido, and Ar is aryl or a heterocyclic residue).
