The invention concerns a firing mechanism for a firearm such as a shotgun, a combination weapon, a double-barrelled shotgun or the like. The mechanism involves a firing lever (11, 12) situated around a swivel axle (13, 14) for each barrel, where the pin has an arm which, when the weapon is loaded, engages a restrainer in a spring loaded hammer (3, 4) and holds this in a taut position against the spring loading.There is, furthermore, at least one trigger (18), situated around the swivel axel (19), and a regulator (20) connected to this. By pulling the trigger, one of the barrels is fired by the action of the firing pin releasing the catch on the hammer. According to the invention, every firing lever (11, 12), and every trigger (18) and their connecting regulators, are deployed so that they are balanced around their swivel axels.<IMAGE> |
