PURPOSE:To provide an objective lens driving device excellent in productivity and reliability by installing a tracking coil in a driving division. CONSTITUTION:A focusing coil 3 to drive in the direction of the focusing (x) and a magnetic circuit II4 to drive in the direction of the tracking are installed in an objective lens holding cylinder 2. A magnetic circuit I 7 to drive in the direction of the focusion (x) and tracking coil 8 to drive in the direction of the tracking (y) are installed in a base 5. The objective lens driving device, having the structure for which the focusing coil 3 and tracking coil 8 are installed in the driven part and driving part respectively, permits simple assembly of the tracking coil and assures the processing of coil winding ends, thereby improving the reliability at a low price. |
