COMPENSATOR CIRCUIT FOR DROP-OUT

PURPOSE:To compensate the dropout with high accuracy by interpolating the dropout by the data for the second or fourth field from the occurrence of dropout. CONSTITUTION:Data compensator circuit 29 receives data of the third field and first field from second memory 21 to calculate the forecasted data at the position shifted by 180 from the phase of subsample for the third field and to prepare compensation data corresponding to the subsample phase of fifth field. Switching circuit 18 receives said compensation data and A/D conversion data as input signals and the dropout detector output issued from videodisk player side together with FM demodulator output and selects and sends the compensation data in lieu of A/D conversion data.
