PURPOSE:To add a DTE to a circuit exchange network without using an NCU and at the same time to shorten the dial originating time, by using the 1F input/output circuit of the 1st class and the 1F input/output circuit of the 2nd class which performs the circuit make/break and input/output of characters and adding a 1F converting circuit between both input/output circuits. CONSTITUTION:A circuit connection request is given to a request acceptance circuit 21 and then transmitted to a DEC40 by a selection signal reading circuit 23, a selection signal setting part 22 and an originating/incoming control circuit 24 via an X-series 1F input/output circuit 26. Thus the connection of circuits is executed. While the circuit 24 informs a 1F converting circuit 27 the detection of an incoming state and then sets a communication line. Then a communication line is set to a DTE50 through the circuit 27, and input/output of characters is carried out between the DTE50 and the communication destination DTE via circuits 25-27. Here the communication is possible between different types of 1F terminals with the 1F conversion function of the circuit 27. A circuit break request is given to the circuit 21. A connected circuit is released via the circuit 27 by a break control part circuit 28 and according to the break requests given from the DTE50 and the DEC40. |
