The subject of the invention is mechanical linkage devices which can be automatically disconnected for a predetermined tractive force. A device according to the invention connects together an element 1 equipped with a swelling 2 and an element 3 which is securely fastened to a casing 4. The front end of the wall of the casing 4 comprises flexible metallic strips 7 provided with an overthickness 8 between which the swelling 2 is engaged. A threaded ring 12 makes it possible to adjust the unfastening force. A sliding bush 14 thrust by a spring 15 covers over the slits between strips after the separation of the two elements.
