The invention relates to a transportable container assembly for the erection of buildings in limited time, in particular mobile clinics, which assembly comprises a central cuboidal container and two lateral containers which extend along in each case one longitudinal side of the central container and are articulated in a pivotable manner on the latter. The invention is intended to reduce the height of such a container assembly in the transport and storage position, and to simplify the mounting and demounting of the roofs of the lateral containers. This is achieved according to the invention by the roofs of the lateral containers being articulated, such that they can move pivotably, on the upper edge of the longitudinal side of said lateral containers, and forming a right angle with this longitudinal side in the transport or storage position. In this arrangement, the roof of the narrower lateral container is arranged between a longitudinal side of the central container and the floor of the wider lateral container, whereas the roof of the latter bears on the outside against the floor, extending parallel to the other longitudinal side of the central container, of the narrower lateral container. <IMAGE>
