The present invention provides an image processing method for selecting resolution having a minimum distortion value and devices performing the method. An operation method of image process includes the steps of: generating a plurality of encoded bit streams having different resolutions by using an original image outputted from a video source; generating a plurality of restored images corresponding to each encoded bit stream and having the same resolution as the first resolution of the original image; comparing the restored images with the original image, respectively, and outputting one bit stream among the encoded bit streams according to comparison results. |
