<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the loss of thermal radiation and improve a thermal efficiency by a method wherein an interface plane between an upper accumulated hot water and a lower accumulated cold water is maintained at a lower position when a large amount of hot water is required and in turn it is maintained at a high position when a small amount of hot water is required. CONSTITUTION:When a large amount of hot water set by a timer 11 is required, a heating device 6 is controlled in such a way as an interface plane WX between an upper accumulated hot water WH and a lower accumulated cold water WL near a water feeding temperature is kept at a desired low position hL in the tank 2. The upper accumulated hot water WH is controlled to be heated before a desired time is elapsed in such a way as a temporary discharging of large volume of hot water such as applying hot water in the bath tub or the like is performed. During a time except that a large amount of hot water is discharged, the heating is controlled in such a way as the interface plane WX is maintained at the desired position hH in the tank 2.</p> |
