In order to wash out the soft concrete on the upper layer of newly poured concrete slabs containing gravel and small stones, the slab (44) is brought into to a slanted position and doused. In order to counteract the deformation of the soft slab, which is worked from a standing position on an accompanying carrier plate (46) bigger than the slab, individual support is given to the slanted lower edges of the slab (44) relative to the carrier plate (46). The carrier plate (46) can protrude, more or less, from the slab (44) and to achieve secure double support for the edge, the piece is (before being tipped up) shoved towards a device (48) with a movable grip (52) on the edge of the slab, and a secure grip (54) on the edge of the carrier plate, which when engaged produces a locking effect on the movable grip (52), where after, both edges are supported when the piece is tipped up. The tipping itself takes place around a 'floating' tipping axel near the piece's centre whereby quick movements can happen without special inertia problems as a result of movement energy during the tipping.<IMAGE> |
