PURPOSE:To prevent corona products from being stuck to a photosensitive body in the atmosphere of high ozone concentration by forming a protective layer consisting of a developer on the photosensitive body after image formation. CONSTITUTION:When a photosensitive body 1 consisting of an amorphous silicon material is turned continuously after image formation to operate an electrifier 2 and a developing device 5, the protective layer consisting of a developer layer 12 is formed on the photosensitive body 1. By this protective layer, corona products are prevented from being stuck to the photosensitive body 1 in the atmosphere of high ozone concentration due to ozone generated by corona discharge of electrifiers 6-9 at the image formation time, and image flowing is prevented. |
