<p>The invention relates to the predetermined arrangement of a wood element 1 longitudinally straightened with respect to a reference line 16 established by a conversion station 3. Endless longitudinal conveyors 5 lead to the conversion station 3, the upper branches of which conveyors deflect downwards at various points 11 in trough (gutter) form. Via this trough extend transverse conveyors 8 which are able to rise and descend and are capable of control. Control is effected in such a manner that a wood element 1 in the correct position with respect to the reference line 16 is discharged on account of the descent of the transverse conveyor 8 on the longitudinal conveyor 5. The transverse conveyors are simultaneously alignment devices which by means of the control of their manner of utilization straighten the wood element. For control, predetermined points of the wood element are optically scanned at predetermined points of the device. Fig. 1.</p> |
