A pressurizer, in particular for coaxial cables, comprises a compressor with a working pressure approximately equal to the operating pressure in service and which, by means of a heat transmitter, sends low pressure air - corresponding to the said operating pressure - to a drying system with heat recovery from which the moisture-free air under pressure is made to continue up to the place of use via a set of measuring and control devices, which include some corresponding alarms, the pressurizer being equipped with control and monitoring logic.
