PURPOSE:To obtain a bearing for an electric motor which endures the environment under high temperature and can be prepared at a low cost, by inserting an inside bearing made of carbon fiber onto the inside of an outside bearing. CONSTITUTION:Brackets 1 and 2 support a stator 3, and an inside bearing 5 made of carbon fiber is press-fitted onto the inside of an outside bearing 4 made of oilless metal fixed onto the brackets 1 and 2. A rotor magnet 6 constitutes a rotor by insertion-molding a shaft 8 by resin 7. When the outside bearing 4 is formed by drilling a hole on the inside of the oilless metal, the conventional caulking jig can be used. Since the inside bearing 5 made of carbon fiber is press-fitted onto the inside, the shaft 8 and the inside bearing 5 contact in slidable ways, and the rotor can be revolved free from seizure at high temperature, even if used in an engine room. |
