PURPOSE:To fuse integrally a crosspiece to a thermoplastic belt surface within a short period, by using a crosspiece made of the same material as that of a belt main body and a welding rod made of the same material and heating locally only the parts where joining is required by a high temperature hot air current. CONSTITUTION:When it is required that a belt main body 30 of a thermoplastic resin is prepared, and thin-walled planar crosspieces 10 of the same resin as that of the first mentioned resin are to be joined on the surface of the belt with intervals between the crosspieces along the length of the belt, each crosspiece 10 is arranged to stand on the surface of the belt 30. Then each welding rod 20 of the same resin as that of the belt main body 30 is placed in each corner between the belt surface and the crosspiece, and high temperature hot air current having a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the resin is blown to the corner to make the surface layer parts to be joined in a melted state, so that they are integrally fused. |
