PURPOSE:To attain smooth operation by using a pressing means to depress elastically vertically upper/lower halves and fitting/removing a locking bar to a fitting part while the upper and lower halves are adhered closely sufficiently. CONSTITUTION:Before a disc cartridge 1 is loaded in a disc layer, both locking bars 118, 119 are moved in the arrow (a) by a spring 124, the tip of both fitted parts 120 is inserted and fitted to a fitting hole 130 of both fitting parts 129 and the upper/lower halves 2, 3 are connected vertically by both the locking bars 118, 119. When the cartridge 1 is loaded to the loading inlet, the cartridge 1 is drawn up to the cartridge drawing position horizontally and a release pin 76 is loaded to the cartridge 1, the locking bar 118 is moved in the direction a' and the locking bar 119 is moved in the direction (a). As a result, the tip of both the fitted parts 120 of the locking bars 118, 119 is removed out of both the fitting hole 130 of the both fitting parts 129 toward the arrow a' and the coupling of the upper/lower halves 2, 3 is released. |
