Device for matching a petrol pump to electronic system extensions. In the field of service stations, there is a requirement for extensive automation by the use of electronics for the control of the petrol pumps and evaluation of the data via a central control (4) at the payment desk. In order to match mechanical and electronic cost calculators (15, 16) of a conventional design for connection to system extensions, a computer interface (2) is installed directly in the petrol pump (1). The computer interface (2) takes care of the petrol-pump-internal control process and the processing of the measurement data and control data for transmission of the same via a system-compatible interface to the central control (4).
