In order to achieve a very high level of safety in the operation and carrying of hand guns, a weapon must be functionally understandable for the carrier and must also be capable of being coped with in stressful situations. The magazine retaining button can easily be identified as the control element for replacing the magazine, as a result of its conspicuous size and colour. It can easily be identified by touch in the dark. Its method of fitment on both sides makes it virtually impossible for the magazine to be lost as a result of the weapon being jarred carelessly. This effect is supported by the position of the magazine retaining buttons inside the handle shells or inside the weapon outline. The magazine can be removed only by pressing both magazine retaining buttons deliberately and simultaneously.
